I noticed a few posts about apps or programs which can "clean" the iPhone's storage space and free up space. I recently heard about an app called iClean by Monkey Taps on the Today in iOS Podcast and the people who called in to the show had pretty good things to say about it. Anyhow, I thought I give it a try, it's a 99 Cent app, it seems to be fully accessible and seems to do what it promises. On my iPhone 4S 64 Gig it freed up about 350 Mb of space, not a huge amount, but the main purpose of the app also is to overwrite deleted files so they can't be recovered. As I am getting ready to possibly sell my 4S if I decide to buy the 5S this is probably not a bad idea. Running faster and with a more enhanced interface than any other cleaner app, it wipes out any unwanted or unused data without any trouble to you, by being able to run in the background. You can multitask while your phone is being cleaned. Deleted contents in your phone are technically not erased and can still be recovered by other external programs. iClean overrides these hidden deleted items and ensures that everything unnecessary is gone.
