I'm curious. Where did you hear that Apple had such a principle? I
always figured Apple was just implementing features leveraging the cloud
for the convenience of sharing content across multiple devices and
avoiding the inconvenience of having to connect your device to a
computer. I also figured it was part of their long term plan to drop
iTunes support for Windows and not adversely impact their device sales.
I'd be interested though in knowing more about this Apple principle
though and how they documented it and rolled it out.
