Yeah, I did a backup and a sync and I still got this message. I couldn't find the transfer purchases button and ended up just hitting the continue button. I'll go back and look for the transfer purchases button now.

thank you, but this was actually my first tactic. It was after completing
this task and other such backup tasks then beginning the update where I was
stopped in my tracks by iTunes.

Select the first radial button. Find the sync button to sync your iPhone to
your computer through iTunes. After you've synced your iDevice, you will be
safe to update.

Hi all,

While attempting to update my iPod Touch 5th gen to IOS7 via iTunes, I
came
across the following message. Hopefully someone will have a suggestion or
two in order to successfully complete the update process. Specifically,
how
does one transfer to their iTunes library?

"iTunes

There are purchased items on the iPod that have not been transferred to
your iTunes library. You should transfer these items to your iTunes
library
before updating this iPod. Are you sure you want to continue?

Continue
Cancel"

Thanks,

Joseph
