Hi Kimber,

Thank you for the assistance, and after following your instructions, I still
can't get the darn thing to completely synch. I'm looking in the music
folder and there are only 50 of the 70+ apps on my iPod. I'm assuming the
problem may lie when initially installing iTunes and running my first synch.
iTunes synched to my SSD drive, but at some point I thought it prudent to
prevent unnecessary writes to my solid state drive, so I changed where
iTunes would backup apps. In fact, if I look in my external hard drive, I
can see my old apps in there. The problem is that iTunes cannot see these
older files and therefore might be generating this current error message.
Its strange because iTunes has identified all apps on my iPod. Well, I think
I'm going to do something I absolutely never do, and I'm going to just run
the installer and take my chances. Hope I don't have to repurchase any apps.

Joseph

There should be an option in the file menu to transfer purchases. Plug
your pod in an choose that option. All your purchases you made on the
pod should then be transferred to your iTunes library.
