Hi Anita, Thank you very much for this information as I have discovered the following little trick to very, very quickly close apps in IOS7...
Once in the app switcher, if one swipes right then swipes up once as you have suggested, one will now be on the "close button for the app which has focus. One can now double-tap and hold until the bypass chime is heard. Without lifting your first finger, if you split tap repeatedly, you can close all running apps at quite a fast clip. There was someone on this list who posted this little trick for IOS6, and I'm glad I can now replicate it on IOS7. Thanks for nudging me in the right direction! Voiceover will give me the name of the app and tell me it's running and then tell me to swipe up with three fingers to close the app. I again, swipe up with one finger, and voiceover says, close and the name of the app that is running. I then double tap with one finger to close that app. Then, if any other apps are open, the next one will appear and voiceover will say, running. I again double tap using one finger. I continue this procedure and till I hear the word home, meaning I have closed all running apps. I double tap on the home button, and Voila, I am back at the home screen. .
