Hi Carla,

VO calendar sells for, I believe, $9.95. Once installed, it will ask you if
you want to synch with your native calendar. You just say yes and all the
appointments you have in your native calendar will be copied to your VO
calendar.

VO calendar displays a whole week and tells you how many appointments you
have for the week. You then flick right to go to the day you want and
double tap. You can then flick right between appointments. You, of course,
have an add button to add new appointments which are copied to your native
calendar. There is a button called "more options" which will bring you into
the more advanced options in your native calendar. Once everything is set,
you just double tap the done button.

All the people I recommended the app to are still using it many months later
and, believe me, some of them are on very limited budgets.

Of course, the final decision is yours but I'm relatively certain you will
like it.

Can you explain what VO Calendar does & why you recommend it? I have no
problem paying for an app if it works but I don't want to pay for one that
only half works. Thanks.

Carla

The new calendar format has been one of the biggest drawbacks for me with
ios7. My solution, and it isn't 100% satisfactory, was to purchase VO
Calendar and use it instead. The app is ten dollars and the layout is a bit
odd, but it's easier to manage than the native calendar layout. Also, when
you install it, it will ask if it can access your calendar, Say ok and all
your appointments will be copied into the VO calendar.

Wish I had a better solution, but there you go.
