I just learned something about the bard app that I didn't know and I didn't
remember seeing it in the user guide but at 65 years old things get iffy!
Anyway, If I turn voice over off with the 3 finger double tap wile in the
bard app and after I've started my book playing, now the start/stop playback
gesture works anywhere on the screen.
