Hi Alan, After you press the Play/Stop button on the Bard player, you can very reliably pause and play with a 2-finger double-tap. You don't have to unload vo at all. The key might be in first using the Play/Pause button on the app itself which tells it to accept all commands from that point on and not use the gestures for other apps such as the Music app.
