Hi,
This morning I wrote the following message to accessibil...@apple.com regarding
my difficulties with favorites in the Phone app.

Hi,
Since updating to IOS 7, I've noticed what seems to be different
behavior in the Phone app. I've saved a number of contacts as
favorites. Some of these favorites are for the same person, but there
are separate entries for mobile phone and home phone numbers. Since
upgrading to IOS 7 I can't tell which entry is which. VoiceOver will
read the contact's name but instead of saying "John Smith mobile", and
"John Smith Home", for example, it just says "John Smith Call" for
both of those entries. Is this a bug or is this by design? If it's a
bug, could you put this on your list of items to check out and fix for
the next IOS update? We VoiceOver users would certainly appreciate
it.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Tom Lange

Frankly, I was a bit surprised to get such a quick response. Apple responded
thusly:
