At first I tried just the power off and back on and it did not work.
Good info to know though about the reset thing.

Heil, I heard the same thing. A person from Apple said that it is not a good
idea to hold down the power and the home button and do that type of reset,
because it can damage the operating system. That reset is only supposed to
be used if the phone freezes up. I am not trying to be argumentative, just
