Chris I met the chap who recorded the voice that became Nuance’s Daniel at a conference recently – he’s called Jon Briggs and he said that, if we were thinking that his voice sounded familiar, then it’s because he is the voice of Siri and half the station announcements in the UK too. Actually in my station of Warwick he’s literally half the announcements as he announces all the Northern-bound trains while a nice lady does the South-bound ones. Thanks, Robin.
