I got in an iPhone 4 a weird issue. another weird issue. When a call comes to my iPhone 4, it never says who is calling. Even though, it appear on the screen. Looks like The voice over focus is not taking the text of the caller ID. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Troy Sullivan" <[email protected]>

Can you please explain in more detail what issues you are having? On my 4s, the only issue I am having is when receiving calls is the speaker phone does not automatically switch to the earpeace when holding the phone to your ear. Well it does, but not right away. This is a known issue and from what I understand apple is working on this. I'm not sure about the 5 series as I don't have it.
Other than that I have no other issues with the phone portion.

Subject: making and receiving calls since the upgrade

Hi all,
Since the upgrade my iphone 4 s seems not as good when making and receiving calls. First of all to save lots of battery life I went in to settings, general accessability then I checked reduce motion to be on as this saves lots of battery life.
found this out from a brilliant podcast look at
www.frequencycast.com
my samsung galaxy s iii is far better when making and receiving calls.
hear in the uk I am with vodafone with my iphone and t mobile on the samsung. wonder if the iphone 5 is better for making and receiving calls after all it's meant to be a phone.
