Ray,

When you refer to "your setup", what exactly is your setup? Maybe you mentioned
it before, but if so
I can't remember what you have. Is it a PC?
If so which version of Windows, iTunes and which screenreader?

Regards,
Sieghard

I did all that and got no where I am beginning to be convinced it can not be
done with my setup.

Hello Ray,

If the songs are moved out of Automatically Add to iTunes and a artist folder
and album folder is
created and the songs are in it then it sounds as if they are added to your
music library just fine.
Just follow the steps I outlined, here they are again:

Connect your iPhone
Open iTunes and go to your device
Tab to the Music tab/radio button and check it Tab a bunch of times past all
the other tabs/radio
buttons and see if you find something that says "Sync All Music" and see if
that is checked or not.
I can't tell you to check it because I don't know how much music you have in
your library, how large
a phone you have and whether you want all your music on he phone. If you do
then it's easy, just
check "Sync All Music", tab to Apply and press it.
If you don't, you have to check "Sync Selected Music", then tab to any of the
drop-down lists like
playlist, artist, album or genre and check the music you want. If you want to
manage your music with
playlists you have to of course first create playlists in iTunes, these would
then show up in the
Playlists list view. I prefer to sync my music to my iPhone by artist, so I
just tab to the artist
list view, arrow through my list of 200 or so artists which I have in my
library and every time I
get to one whose CD's or songs I want to sync I just press the space bar to
check the checkbox. When
I'm done I tab to Apply and press the spacebar and the sync starts and the
music from the artists I
selected is copied to my iPhone.

Regards,
Sieghard

I think I may be a bit lost here but they do move out of the add to ITunes
folder and into music
with album and artist folders created. I told it to sync the music but
something is missing
somewhere because it does not go to the phone at all.

Hi Ray,

You would have to provide a bit more detail, for example, what file types are
you trying to add, do
the files disappear from the "Automatically add to iTunes" folder which I
assume is the folder you
mean.

I have rarely used this method to get content added to my music, books, tones
or other libraries,
but I believe the best way to use it is to close iTunes, copy the files into
the folder, than open
iTunes and check if the files have been moved out of the folder. Then check if
they ahave been added
to the appropriate library, e.g. if you add 10 MP3 files, they should be in
your music library, if
you added some M4R files (ringtones) they should have been moved to your Tones
library.
If that is all as it should be you still have to check whether you sync all
content or selected
content. For example, if you set iTunes to sync only selected music, you would
most likely still
have to connect your iPhone and before you sync check the Music radio button,
then tab to your list
of albums or artists and make sure the new music is checked so that it is
included when you do a
sync.

Regards,
Sieghard

No matter what I do I cannot move content from the machine to the phone. I put
the content in the
add to iTunes folder and press the sync button but the material does not copy
to the phone what am I
missing?
