Hi Alan, my thought would be that it would run faster, because there's a much faster processor in the iPhone 5s. Hope someone would correct me if I am wrong. I have a forest right now and it is a bit sluggish with iOS 7, but I think with 5S it would be faster because it has the a seven processor. God bless, Wren
