Hi Anita,

I don't specifically know about AT&T's program, but Telus and probably other
providers here in Canada offer something similar. One thing you can be sure
of is that you do pay for the phone one way or another. What AT&T and
companies who offer this will do is sell these 1-year old phones as used
phones, especially with the iPhone the value will still be quite good, but
If they offered the same monthly deal without charging for the iPhone while
at the same time offering you a new phone each year, they would soon have no
customers who would spend $199, $299 or $399 for a 5S any more. For people
who like to have the latest and greatest every year paying a bit extra might
be worth it.

Sieghard

Subject: AT&T and the Next program

Hi everyone. Anybody using AT&T's next program, wherein you can get an
iPhone 5S by only paying taxes on the phone? I was told gone are the days
of buying the phone outright. I was told you can upgrade every 12 months.
I was told each time a new iPhone comes out, you can upgrade without
penalty.

Is anyone using this program? If so, how do you like it? Do you not own
your phone?

Any feedback you have would be appreciated. Thanks.
