Found my problem. Somehow, because I have 2 keyboards installed, the text boxes had 2 active keyboards. The VO echoed the text in English but the actual keyboard was in French and, somehow, that all got in with the double tap for the music. When I deleted the French keyboard and left only the English US, everything is working well. I guess I'll have to wait until they fix that problem before I can install a second keyboard again. I'm still anxiously waiting for them to fix the volume problem. My phone is stuck at 35% volume and I would have to do a complete reset to get it back above that.
