Settings -> General -> Keyboard and then go down to the short cuts
section at the bottom. Double tap the add new short cut button, fill in
the phrase and the short cut and save.

Yes, it works well with sincle limes of text..
I have shortcuts for my email address, my first and last name, home
address, town and zip code.
It makes quick work when filling out forms, like buying internet access
on an airplane.
I also have shortcut phrases with emojis, such as OK signs, American
flag, various smileys and hearts... for my wife.
