Hi Danny, I am wondering the same as Christopher. The native Mail app has perfect support for Exchange as far as I can tell. I use Office 365 for my business and that is full-fletched hosted Exchange and it works beautifully with the mail app and I also access the same email/contacts on my laptop and 2 desktops at my business. I think that the iOS Mail app is extremely well done, I wish I had some of the features in Outlook.
