Chris and Sieghard,
When first getting started with my phone and comparing notes with
co-workers re how they got their Outlook mail to go to their cell, I had a
co-worker tell me about Mail Plus and don't recall why I didn't look at the
mail program already on the phone. I do get my OE mail through that mail
program and yes, it does work better.
For some reason that I can no longer recall, I was under impression
Microsoft Outlook Exchange wouldn't work with that one. You all seem to
think it would, though?

I am wondering the same as Christopher. The native Mail app has perfect
support for Exchange as far as I can tell. I use Office 365 for my
business
and that is full-fletched hosted Exchange and it works beautifully with
the
mail app and I also access the same email/contacts on my laptop and 2
desktops at my business.
I think that the iOS Mail app is extremely well done, I wish I had some of
the features in Outlook.
