I feel foolish asking this question because I am certain that something
is radically wrong. But what?
One of my IOS devices is a 4S running IOS 7.02. It is activated on the
Verizon network. The other day, while waiting for an appointment, I
listened to Pandora for 55 minutes, using cellular data. I have the app
called Dataman which I checked for usage and found that Dataman alleged
a data usage of almost 75 megs for that 55 minute period. I remember
reading a post a couple of months ago on this list stating that Pandora
usage should be perhaps 16 megs per hour. Prior to turning on Pandora, I
had cleared the app switcher of everything with the exception of
Dataman; so I know that no other app was using cellular data while
Pandora was running.
So the question becomes, is it even possible for Pandora (the free
version) to use almost 75 megs in slightly less than an hour? Opinions
and ideas please.
