I am in Canada so I have no idea, but I don't see why it shouldn't work, I have never come across an app where I could play something where it didn't work.

I would easily get 2 or maybe even 3 days out of my iPhone battery if I used a different device to listen to books when I am at home and of course doing email and browsing would be nicer, too. I could even turn off WiFi on my iPhone most of the time which would save even more battery. However, even if I had an iPad Mini, I would still often use my Outdoor Tech Turtleshell speaker.
