I don't disagree with you. However the iPod Touch and sound quality to me who is hard of hearing leaves a lot to be desired. The 5th generation is better but still no base which is what I like. The quality on the iPhone is outstanding. It's even more outstanding or so I've been told on an iPad. Best of all the iPad uses two not one speaker compared to the iPod Touch and iPhone.
