From what I understand, there will be no change in the camera in the ipad
air and ipad mini with retina display.

Keepp in mind that is article obsolete with the new IPad. It is my
understanding that it will have a faster processor, retina display,

Ok a couple of corrections going by an Applevis podcast.
1. The iPad Mini's sound quality is great.
2. There are only two speakers on an iPad Mini. The regular iPad, unless
this has changed with the Air, only has one.
