I have similar problem when i first upgrade to iOS 7. I often found that is assess pictures on my phone. Soon i realize the problem is from how i accidentally touch on camera button, rather than unlock button. It might not be what it is, but that was my experienced. I guess i realize that because whenever i look back at the phone, it is either capturing my phone's case, or my pocket... Unfortunately, it is not arty enough for me to turn in to art though. :)
