Hi Dan. It depends on why you're turning down brightness whether you'd rather use screen curtain. If you just don't want others to see your screen, then leave brightness at a high level, and turn on screen curtain. If, on the other hand, you want to save battery, then turning down brightness will do it. Screen curtain doesn't save any battery.
