Hello, Even though this is not an iOS app or a piece of hardware that could be paired with the phone, I want to make you aware that there is a web site called www.directionforme.com that has an extensive listing of food, beauty items, and etc. I just quickly looked at it to see what type of information one can ascertain from it. I opened All Bran cereal and it gave the size of the box, nutritional info, manufacture, etc. There are many links, so I didn't test a package of cake mix or brownies that would give you the directions. However, this is the web site that the AT Guide's barcode scanner uses, so I would believe that it's complete. Go check it out and it may suit your needs as another resource. HTH.
