Under notification center, in Settings, go down to Messages. After clicking on Messages, you move down to where it says show in lock screen. Disable that and you will no longer have your messages showing up on your lock screen. It doesn't matter if you keep it to alert style, banner style, or no alerts. As long as show in lock screen is off you will not have your messages showing there.
