That may be the reason. Try contacting iTunes Support, they may help you 
retrieve your previous purchase. Call (800) 
692-7753<1%20%28800%29%20692-7753>and ask them to transfer you to the iTunes 
Store department. Unfortunately 
we do not have access to distribute the in-app purchases, but they may be 
able to assist you in restoring your purchase.
