Hi, I have never had this problem with my iPhone but my son's iPod Touch started spontaneously resetting a few months ago and we had to have the logic board replaced. However, I was also told that a faulty battery can cause the same problem so you have to have someone who really knows what they are doing take a look at it to diagnose it.
