Hi Kathy, There is iClean which is an iOS app and which is accessible. Yes, you do have to download it to your phone, but iClean is 34 Mb which is about the same as maybe 6 or 8 songs, to me even if I had a 16 Gb iPhone this would be of little concern especially since iClean is only 99 Cents, when I ran it the first time on my iPhone 4S it freed up about a Gig of space, so what's 34 Mb compared to 1,000 Mb.
For those who are considering Phone Clean, I just read a review on CNET although the reviewer is using the free version, not sure what the Pro version does that the free version doesn't do, but here is the link for that review: http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-19512_7-57566272-233/phoneclean-2.0-reclaims-st orage-space-on-your-ios-device Regards, Sieghard -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Kathy Brandt Sent: Tuesday, December 31, 2013 6:16 AM To: [email protected] Cc: <[email protected]> Subject: Re: About phone clean, CNN, and QVC updates Yes, you do connect the phone to either a Windows PC or Mac to use phone clean. There are a lot of places through out where it says "image "; however, you press the first button after where it says get started, then on the Mac use the trackpad to go to where it says scan, then keep going around until you get the message saying scan complete, then continue to where it says clean, and then keep going around until it says clean complete. During these processes when you're going around the display you will see how much space has been freed up. Good luck. I believe there is an app that has a similar name that is for the iPhone, but it takes up space and so it's better to use the computer product so that you can have that space on your phone for other things. . I was told that it was not accessible either on a pc or mac. Can it be run on the phone itself, with no computer? You have to pay $29 for that but it's a license for life. This is my first time purchasing On a mac. I had trouble getting the credit card information in, so had to do it through PayPal. On three devices I gained 800 MB. Since I had gotten no reply regarding the CNN update, I decided to take the plunge and try it. Version 2.0 works fine with getting to the cable provider and watching TV without crashing, even on my fourth GEN iPod touch. This is the first time in quite a while that I don't have any updates in the App Store. On my fourth GEN iPod touch QVC still has the blips unless you turn voiceover off, but they don't sound on The iOS 7 devices. Curiously enough, be in the kitchen with David app even with iOS 6 never had that problem, even though made by the same people. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
