Joanne, thanks for this. I'm getting the hang of it here. My first thought was so the iPad air has a larger screen then the iPhone 5s so all it will mean is everything will just be larger like watching a 13 inch TV and then watching it on a 48 inch TV. It didn't occur to me that the larger screen could be drawn to make better use of the information being presented. As was said, I won't have to drill down through as much. because it will already be there. Hopefully, it cuts down on the flicking and such.

Also, when you said keys and buttons will be in different places, in some cse it will be different places. for example, you got twice as much space on the keyboard than on the iphone if not more, and the gab between apps will be wider from one to another. Some apps lay out will be different from the ipad and iphone. Some apps use containers on the ipad more so than on the iphone. As far as the differences between mini retina and the air is concern, it is really, the size. With my experience on trying both ipad air and the mini retina, i don't see much different in speed. If it does might be some milisecond different. I honestly don't believe it though. considering they both using the same processer and everything, the only explaination that i can think of that might slow down the mini retina a bit will be the retina screen.
