Hi. How I do it is to bring up a new event, and then double tap the
Show Details item. That will make all of the event's details appear,
even the repeat option. Once you double tap Repeat, the Custom choice
will appear in the usual list of repeat items, like every day, week,
month, and so forth. I used this earlier today to setup a custom
repeat for my weekday paratransit ride at a certain time. Awesomeness.
