in settings, change your mail notifications to banners. you have it on alerts.

I’m not sure if I can explain this well, but I’ll try. Sometimes when I’m in an app I get a notification that I have new email. I’m put in the message and if I flick right I’m asked if I want to dismiss or read. I really don’t want to do either, especially if there are 4 or so emails in a row, but don’t know how to get out of that and back to whatever I was doing in the first place. Any suggestions would be welcome. It’s not a huge problem, but I’d like to figure it out if possible.
