I kept the Apple software updates program, but you can uninstall but if you
want to. The main thing is to uninstall iTunes and any components related to
it such as Bonjour Apple application support etc. As someone else said,
uninstalling anything Apple on your computer would not be a bad idea it will
come back when you reinstall iTunes. t

I would highly suggest deleting all the Apple software and
reinstalling from scratch. My problem was different than yours but it
solved it. I went as far az cleaning the registry as well. You
probably don't need to do that though. Also doing this doesn't cause
you to lose your ITunes settings.

Ok, did you leave the apple software updates thing or did you remove that
too?

I just don’t want to lose anything though it’s all on my phone.

Hi,
I deleted everything that was Apple including these two. They will all
come
back when you re-install from a fresh download. I didn’t lose any data.
When you do a backup, it will warn you that you need to copy your apps on
your iPhone to iTunes if you want them to be brought back in case you
need
to restore.

Hi,
There is apple mobile device support and apple software support. Should
I
delete both before trying to reinstall itunes or just the apple mobile
device support?
Can I then use apple software updates to reinstall itunes again?
