Hi all, Is there some other feature or specification in bluetooth headsets I should look for besides A2DP?
I really wanted some bluetooth earbuds and I purchased the LG Tone Plus wireless headset which seemed to have all the features I was looking for. I really liked the idea that I could dock one of the ear buds so I could still hear the kids while I was doing household chores. I wasn't hot on the idea of having my ears completely covered with standard headphones because I really need to be able to here the kids and my surroundings. I wanted them mainly for audiobooks. However, I am baffled that they do not work well with voiceOver. If music or an audible book is playing, voiceOver works okay, but not amazing due to slight delays. However, if there is no background music playing, VO can barely be made out. It cuts in and out or VO does not even come through the headset at all, , making it impossible to get around on my iPhone 5S. :( I am frustrated because I made sure the headphones were A2DP compatible before I purchased them. What other specs should I look for before purchasing a headset? I thought the A2DP was the main feature that the bluetooth headset needed in order to be compatible with voiceOver. It seems as though there is some other specification I should be looking for since, some bluetooth headsets work better than others with voiceOver.
