I'm not sure if you're referring to the Word Ladder game, but if you are,
there is an edit field that appears and stays just above the keyboard
throughout the entire game, until you solve the particular puzzle you're on.
You have the keyboard at the bottom of the screen, then the quit button and
an edit field just above the keyboard, again, on the same line, then you
have the clues up above that line.

There is not an edit field where you type in your answers. You just type and
if your answer fits a clue then it automatically goes for that clue. So if
your first clue's answer is shoe, just type s h o e and if you are right,
you will get a sound letting you know that you answered it correctly. If you
do not hear a sound, then you must try again by typing in another word. But
like I said there is no edit field, just type your answer.

Hi, I looked on the bottom of the screen for the keyboard. Is the
keyboard labeled so that you know where to type in the answers to the
clues? I did see something that says text field but I only see that
when the actual game starts and after I see that text field at the
beginning of the game it doesn't show up again if that is where you're
supposed to put in your answers to the clues. Thanks.
