No, Archive will move the messages into the archive folder. If you want
to delete them and move them into the trash folder instead then you need
to go into Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars and double tap on your
account. Double tap on your account again in the following screen and
double tap on the advanced button. Now you can go down to move discarded
messages and select deleted messages folder instead of archive folder.
You will now see delete and trash instead of archive. I explained this
in an earlier message in this same thread just earlier today, so I
apologize to anyone on the list who's seeing this a second time in such
a short period of time.

unfortunately, you can't delete them all at once. There are two ways you can delete
email. three actually. The easiest for me is to flick up once when focused on a message.
VO will say "trash" as part of the action option in the rotor. You can do this
for each message. another way is the delete button at the bottom of each open message. a
third way is to hit edit and double-tap the messages to mark them for deletion, then
delete them.

Hi all, a somewhat silly question but how do I delete messages from the iPhone
using VoiceOver with ios 7 and mail? Also is it possible to delete them all at
once rather than one by one.
Thanks
