I think we are stuck with it unless TMobile can switch it back to regular voicemail. I always thought there was phantom roaming data on my Sprint usage, except that the missed messages probably account for the bulk of a couple mb now and then since notifications take very little, and I don't try to stream or browse in areas where the status bar calls it GPRS even though CDMA doesn't use that technology.

Unfortunately, no. Visual voicemail is always on.

Sent from my iPhone

Hey everyone, I use t-mobile here in the United States, there is a feature that actually downloads voice mail messages to the iphone, and, even after you delete them from the voice mail system, you must also delete them from the iphone. I think this is called visual voice mail. Is there a way to disable this? I couldn't find a setting on the iphone itself, I guess I could check the t-mobile web site. Basically I want it to work like most other phones, if I have a message, it can indicate this, but I would rather the phone not actually download the messages.
