I am responding to this because, although I am obviously in the
minority, I still cannot open the app switcher on my wife's fifth
generation iPod. I am wondering just how to proceed, wondering whether
there is anything I can do until the next version of IOS is released. I
ask because I know of no means of reinstalling the operating system.
Thanks for ideas.

I am not having any problems entering app switcher. What we have noticed is
that after deleting apps when you close it, it will announce "app switcher"

If we can't look at ourselves, and ask, why? then where does the learning
start?

Subject: Trouble opening the app switcher under 7.1
Since upgrading to 7.1, a double click of the home button no longer
opens the app switcher on my 4s. Can others confirm this behavior?
