Sherrie certainly correct in that this will block text messages from that contact. Just keep in mind that if there any alternative methods of communications listed in the contact, they too all will be blocked. For example, if this company communicates with you via telephone, e-mail and text messaging and you have the telephone numbers and e-mail address(es) listed in the contact all these methods of communications will be blocked. Double Tap the message to open it. Double tap at the top where it says contact. Now choose more info. One of the choices is block this caller.
