I'm glad you asked that question. I had no idea until I just did a Google search that Amazon has purchase Ivona. Sadly, nothing on the web that I have found identifies the voices used on the Kindle Fire, other than there is only U.S. and U.K. English voices. That was from the Amazon Kindle Accessibility help page. However, Bookshare was very clear. >From the Bookshare web site under formats: Voicing is provided by the high quality Kendra voice from Ivona, not your reading tool
