I had a commuter case at one time, and found it wasn't as sturdy as the
defender case. If it wasn't for the fact that my boyfriend was using a
defender case, his phone would have been crushed as a pretty large van
backed over his phone. I have used a Griffin Survivor case also, as those
are considered military strength.

Hi I have the otter box defender case.
And now I have just recently gotten the commuter case and have been
using it for A couple of days now.
So I am trying to decide if I would like to use the commuter case or go
back to the defender case.
I thought that I would like the commuter case and I do but there are
times that I don't want the phone in my pocket.
And I have noticed that some of the buttons are exposed with the
commuter case then were with the defender.
So looking for all suggestions since I have both of these cases now and
I will guess and say more on the list hear.
Will go for the defender because it keeps your iPhone really save and
offers the best protection for it.
