I never used the holsters anyway, and yes, the rubber case don't slide in a pocket too good, but don't slide out of it either. The Commutor is a 1piece rubber shell, so grips just the same as that. All the highEnd cases with a lot of high grip rubber on will resist pockets a bit. I still ahve a Griffin survivor here, same thing, even bulkier! There is one of the Otterbox hard shell cases without rubber on the outside and not bulky, but can't remember the model name. Mrs used it a lot.
