Although it is better now, this problem has been around since the beta tests,
and they, for whatever the reason, couldn't get it straightened out before the
final release. I have had the best luck getting the start/stop button to work
correctly, after it malfunctions, if I hit the on screen play button again
while whatever I didn't want to start playing is still playing. This problem,
plus the skipping backward for no reason, which seems to be a little worse in
IOS 7.1, are the only two problems I have with this app. I am glad to have it,
problems and all.

Subject: BARD Mobile and Earpod Remote Inconsistency

I constantly use my Apple earpods with my iPhone 5 and really enjoy its
remote and volume buttons. Now that I'm starting to use my BARD Mobile app as
opposed to my Stream to read more NLS books, I'm noticing an inconsistency with
the earpod remote button. I would expect that when reading a book with BARD
Mobile, pressing the remote button should stop and start playback. However,
even though I can get this to work sometimes, more often than not pressing the
remote button will start playing whatever song is currently selected in my
music. I can go back to BARD Mobile and press the rewind button a few times or
press the play button to start and stop playback a few times and this will
sometimes cause the remote button to be in what I'll call "BARD Mobile" mode
and work as expected. But I've yet figured out the magic button presses to make
this work every time. It seems very random.

Does anyone else experience this behavior and have you come up with a
workaround to get the earpod remote button to work correctly with BARD Mobile?

Thanks in advance for any comments.
