Hi,
I've found that when focus is taken away from the start/stop button then all
bets are off even if you close the screen.
I like keeping my iPhone on the charger when I'm recharging the battery but
I also want to listen to an NLS talking book using my Legend BT ear peace
which does have the start/stop button. If I touch the start/stop button in
the Bard app wile I'm connected to the ear peace then pressing the
start/stop button on the ear peace then it will work properly.
Regards,
Alan

There, you'll find free files of my arrangements and performances played on
the Yamaha Tyros 1 keyboard. The albums in Technics format formerly on my
website are still available upon request. Thanks for listening!

Subject: Re: BARD Mobile and Earpod Remote Inconsistency
Hi Alan,
This is a known bug. I've had pretty good luck closing all other audio apps,
opening BARD Mobile, starting playback once from the BARD Mobile screen, and
locking the screen. It doesn't always work, but usually does.
Best,
Anna

I constantly use my Apple earpods with my iPhone 5 and really enjoy its
remote and volume buttons. Now that I'm starting to use my BARD Mobile app
as opposed to my Stream to read more NLS books, I'm noticing an
inconsistency with the earpod remote button. I would expect that when
reading a book with BARD Mobile, pressing the remote button should stop
and start playback. However, even though I can get this to work sometimes,
more often than not pressing the remote button will start playing whatever
song is currently selected in my music. I can go back to BARD Mobile and
press the rewind button a few times or press the play button to start and
stop playback a few times and this will sometimes cause the remote button
to be in what I'll call "BARD Mobile" mode and work as expected. But I've
yet figured out the magic button presses to make this work every time. It
seems very random.
Does anyone else experience this behavior and have you come up with a
workaround to get the earpod remote button to work correctly with BARD
Mobile?
Thanks in advance for any comments.
