The screen curtain hides what's on the screen from over the shoulder
lurkers. For example, if your at your bank and have to punch in your
security code etc, you don't want somebody peaking over your shoulder.
That's when you do a a 3 finger triple tap to turn the screen curtain on.
Repeat the gesture again to turn it off. Note: so you don't forget, voice
over announces screen curtain when you restart your iPhone as a clue that
you might want to turn it off. It does not increase battery life however.
Some people think it will so they leave it on not knowing that it's futile
if saving some battery power is what their after.
Sorry in advance if this has already been answered.
Regards,
Alan

I'm trying, but I didn't succeed yet. What does it mean screen curtain on?
In reference to siri, is normal that after the 2 beeps I hear listen button?
In any case, at this moment siri is not making the call I ask her.
Thank you,

It says screen curtain on. You need to triple tap anywhere with three
fingers on the screen. I do this by drawing a letter l in Braille if
that helps. So it's like typing l, l, l. To use Siri you press and hold
the home button and not tap the listen button. Once you hear the two
beeps talk to your phone like you would a real assistant. That's how
Siri works.

Hello,
I'm trying to learn how to use the IPhone, but don't see any progress
and I'm feeling really frustrated.
Now when I turn it on, it says: voice over on, screen locked, and
something else that it didn't say before, something that sounds like
screen courtin on. What does it mean? What do I do to change this screen
courtin on??
Also, when I call Siri pressing the home button, after the 2 beeps it
says listen button, but tapping doesn't work.
Any help, please?
