Make sure list button is not selected. List button is one right flick from back button in the upper left corner of the calendar screen. Double-tap on a day to switch the calendar to day view. Double-tap on the list button to select it. Once selected, VO announces selected any time focus is brought to list button. When in day view, all calendar appointments are shown, in a list view, with the date on a separate line above the appointments for that day. When in month view, if list button is selected, double-tapping on a date brings up the appointments for that date below the month view. In other words, list view has two different functions depending on whether one is in day view or month view. This makes the calendar app very powerful and flexible.
