Hi Donald. I know of a couple of good apps that are identical to Siri. The first is an app by Sparkling Apps called Voice Answer. It's $2.99. It can sometimes screw up what you say in a text message, but not as often as Vokul. If your friend is also blind, there's an unlabeled button that you press to make it listen to you. Second app is called Voice Actions. I searched for it on the app store just now, and it seems that it's no longer available. It's too bad, because it was accessible and doesn't screw up much. As for other apps, now that I've got the 4S I don't really need another app because I have Siri. But give Voice Answer a try. Note that the free or lite version as they call it doesn't give you access to all features as the paid version. Good luck.
