Greetings. My wife will soon be getting a new iPhone 5C. Our current contract with AT&T ends in September and we are thinking of switching to Sprint. Two questions here: First, if we buy my wife's new iPhone 5C from AT&T, will we be able to take it with us to Sprint? I had heard from a coworker that if phones are bought at the Apple Store, then they are automatically unlocked and can be taken to any carrier, verses getting them from the carrier and having them locked to that carrier. Is this true? Second, between AT&T and Sprint, which has better value, service, data speed, and coverage? I realize some of this depends on where you are. I am still interested in people's thoughts. We currently don't have wifi at home but will hopefully get some in our next apartment complex that we will move to in July, if not in our apartment at least in the public wifi areas. So far we have been using our data plans for Internet stuff, but with the addition of wifi that data use will go down somewhat.
Thanks in advance for any and all responses.
