Hi. If you're using Siri to reply to a message, one would think that you'd have to launch Siri. Keep in mind that Siri and dictation are two different things. Also, what I do to have her reply to texts is to tell her to read messages. After she reads a message, she asks me if I want to reply. I say yes and begin dictating my message.
